Custom acrylic light boxes filled with Mylar ribbons and mixed media, overlaid on large-scale digital collages. The Mylar and other mediums (at times containing found objects such as thread, or marbles) often obscure large-scale figures in motion. At times entire pieces present as landscapes. Nearly all of the Mylar collection is backlit, the light emanating through and beyond the back image. The light refracts against each mirror-like Mylar strip creating a glow that illuminates beyond the frame’s edge- like glistening water.
